Yes, I'm still judging you. Apparently, that was a problem.
Twenty years ago I started a blog, made some observations, and discovered not everyone appreciates being judged — especially when you're right.
Twenty years ago I started a blog called “Yes, I'm Judging You.” It was mostly observations: the guy who parks across two spaces, the coworker who replies-all to say “thanks,” the elected official who discovers accountability only during election years.
It turns out people don't love being observed. Who knew. A few readers wrote in to tell me I was negative. A few more wrote in to tell me who I should judge next. The second group was larger.
So I'm back. Older. Wiser. Still judging. The difference now is that I've sat through enough meetings, enough council sessions, and enough youth baseball tournaments to have a truly unreasonable amount of material.
Pull up a chair. Bring a coffee. Somebody has to point out the absurdity — and I've cleared my calendar.
